Miranda pinzón Castañeda is a predominantly analogue media artist from Colombia and based in Toronto, Canada. She specializes in acrylic painting, and her body of work consists of personal commission work from the general public, as well as book illustrations and other publication opportunities.
Miranda also continues to experiment with her practices, and has studied crochet and digital programs. While her work could fit into a “fantasy” genre, she continues to push the boundaries of her subject matter.
Her professional practice began in 2020 however she had studied the arts in highschool in Colombia, and her main driving force and inspiration comes from the joy of creating for others.
